Hi,
Does anyone know a Registered Architect who is interested in stamping other people drawings in NYC? The owner will like to legalize their 1 family house to a two family. Thanks! |

If a registerd architect signs your plans, he/she must review-plan check and correct the drawings to his/her satisfaction, he/she will charge a fee which usually is exorbitant.
you will be better served if you hire a structural engineer, have him prepare proper structural caculations, details and specifications. He/she will assume the structural responsibility of the project regardles of the aesthetics of the building
