Hello all,
My name is Ryan and I manage RedEye ARC (www.redeyearc.com). We are the worlds largest 3D printing firm and have always specialized in rapid prototyping until now. We are concentrating on helping the AEC industry to build accurate models as painless as possible.
Many of you who have had experience with 3D printing know what a hassel it could be. I'm sure you have run into the typical "it's not us it's you attitude" in the past. Well we hope to change that and bridge the gap between 3D printing and Architects.
We are going on the offensive to help educate and train all that are interested in bring their blueprints to life. That starts with communication, blogs and forums are one way to answer individual questions that people have about file conversions, "STL's" , and build technologies.
If anybody has any questions regarding turning their 3D file into a physical model, let me hear it here so others might help as well.
When you post a question, please include the software you are using so we can help you in detail. We will be releasing freeware software soon that you can download from our website that will check your files "Build Integrity" by importing and hitting go.
I look forward to your questions and hope to help as best as we could.
