i've been reading about green building and was wondering if anyone had any experience with or new of any plans for 'normal' masonry homes and or poured earth.. and or cordwood masonry

i'm interested in any special care/worries that need to be taken, in reguards to structure and load bearing, as well as plumbing, heating and electrical..
i'm also interested in figuring out which would be the best way to build for our climate *southern NY, PA border, fingerlakes area*,
and any places to find plans online, both building and conceptual
