I am not an architect but work for a lighting manufacturer. Now I appreciate that many of you probably get approached by reps on a daily basis, but you need to realise that it is also part of your job to talk to us, so that we can continue your education and you can ensure that you continue to specify the right tools for the job, not just the one you have become accostomed to using. Without us how do you keep up with whats new, you would be fumbling in the dark? I would have imagined that such design led, forward thinking people would be itching to see all things new, apparently not! Why is it so much easier to see the M&E, the Lighting designer, the consultant, the interior designer, the facilities manager etc. They might try to lead you to believe they don't have the time. DON'T believe the hype!!!! One last gripe why do such creative people, hmm, have such appallingly designed websites...unstylish and unfunctional.
