Hello, thanks for being there... I have a simple question. I am converting a room into a greenhouse. This room has an existing 14" duct at ground level that feeds the FAU heater, which connects ducting to all rooms in this large home, and is operated via thermostat. My question is this: When a sensor in the greenhouse indicates enough heat, is there a by-pass switch /control that I can install that will allow the blower to send the greenhousee air through the house, by-passing the heating element of the FAU??? In early morning, the thermostat would trigger the heating element because the greenhouse has no heat at that time.
And, second question: WHERE can I buy this by-pass switch, OR what other options do i have other than a manual switch that over-rides the FAU, but still allows me to activate the blower to distribute this hot air through the house?
Thank you so much for a response, as I'm stuck...
