Well today I decided to do another House Design. I hope you like it, and give me some feedback. The interior is not finished but when i finish i will post it in here.
Note: I'm only 16 years old, rising senior. And I'm planning on studying architectur. |

The two things that i see right off the bat are:
The lack of a roof over the curved front wall with windows. With the current roof configuration, I don' really see how this can be practically pulled off and still be aesthetically pleasing.
My suggestion, seeing as how you seem to like gabled roofs, would be to add a gable over this area. The drawback to this is that, with such a small front fascia, this is going to look very busy and cluttered with all the other gables you have going on.
The second thing I notice is the "trough" you have between the main roof and the left hand secondary gable. By having the trough in there, you are promoting an area for water to stand. Water standing on a roof is not a good thing - this can lead to roof failure.
With the negativity aside, you are getting there. Keep working on it and take note of some of the books others have mentioned.
I also suggest that you also read some residential construction How-To books. IMHO - you need to know how things go together before you can design properly.
Now I am not saying you have to be a builder or a framer, you just need to know how things go together and how things are framed.
I would also suggest picking up a book on material specification. By having knwoledge of material and how things are framed, you will have a better idea of how to design.
Again, I am sure that some will disagree with me, but this is my opinion. |

I'm seriously worried about the anorexic postman 
As people have said before (me included), find some books or magazines on good architecture. The best modern housing is very *simple* in idea, yet beautiful (and therefore less complex to build). |

| lol (about postman) I actually went to a library a couple of times and couldn't find the books you recommended. But soon I will try in another library. Kmapro thanks for the comment... it always helps to get some suggestions |
