In a Frank Lloyd Wright house, somewhere (I don't know where, but I have seen pictures and I don't know where), there is a wood display shelf built around a pillar or room dividing wall. Can anyone help me find this and direct me to pictures or books that may have pictures? Websites?

Mr. Wright's career spanned from 1892 to 1959. He did over 500 building; nearly 400 of them being houses. His career can be further categorized into several phases. Do you know the name of the house, the rough time period, or location?
Otherwise, what you decribe is a common detail in Mr. Wright's work. Any good book on his work should have something close to what you are thinking about. |
