Well here is one house that i started working on today... Please tell me what you think.

I will explain something that i couldn't do:

In the middle of all those circles, there is a fountain which water goes around the entry of the house. There are two little bridges. The first one is for cars and its like a circular entry. The the other bridge that is next to the door is for people... Sorry for my bad english .

It looks like a spaceship, or a stealth bomber Smile

I see you have a strip of rooflights along the middle, which is good because normally houses aren't as wide as yours. You can imagine that the rooms inside your house will be very deep and the daylight will struggle to reach from the small outside windows.

Of course, windows in the roof are extremely effective at letting natural light in. Maybe you could have a scattering of circular 'portholes' in the roof, which will add to the spaceship effect!

edit: so r u saying like putting some circular windows around the roof so more natural light can get in ?

I don't want to stop your imagination running wild, of course.

But, generally, architecture has a 'language'. Houses have a 'language'. If you go around your neighbourhood (or look in magazines) and look at houses they may all look different in some ways, but they have a lot of 'housey' things that are similar.

Humans like natural light, so generally there is a limit to the width of a house. Daylight can penetrate effectively for, say, 6 metres from a window. It looks like your house will have rooms far deeper than 6 metres from a window. So you will either have dark rooms, lots of artificial lighting, or maybe have 'windows' in your roof. Your rooflights could be sqaure, circular, domed, whatever you want. Your spaceship may end up looking like a spotty bullfrog!

Here endeth the technical lecture Cool

i am a high school student majoring in architecture and design and i really don't know much...but from looking at the picture..i notice something..the design of the building itself may be missing something. and the fact that the trees and covering the front door and the design does not make the design stand out. when i first looked at it, i was wondering why the foundation waters are in front of the entrance door. it's a unique part of the design but it kind of "covers" up the beauty and lines of your whole house.

what do you think? Rolling Eyes
