raj,
It is possible that if you pursue this line of work and get good at what you do, you'll take someone's job away from someone in an allready very competitive field. Realize that you are talking your competition; only architects who are so succesful that they know they have nothing to lose by offering advice will do so. Everyone else will only try to discourage you. Welcome to the jungle. |

Raj,
best advice from someone who just finished archirecture school and didnt start till i was 38 years old is ...
step back from the drafting table take a deep breath and go for a long walk.... than go back to work and totaly ignore all of the others around you trust your gut your right the work will stand on its own.
i found that some times proffesers as well as classmates have there own adjendas.. always think things through this is the basis to justify design desicions...present ideas have concrete responses to questions, but dont respond with emotion IF you feel it is your best work the rest is just noise..
all the best from canada... |

hey
i dunno if this will help you...
but i think you are thinking too much...
let loose..
design is not done consciously..
it comes from within..
listen to your heart ...it tells you.. what's right n what is wrong..
don't make an effort to design..
n for the other things you're frusrated about...
i think you don't have a control on others.. but your peace of mind is in your hands.. never judge people.. you hav 2 stand upto your own ideals.. everybody is right in his own place...right n wrong are relavant.. don't waste your precious time on these things.. they don't mean anethn
