    |
|
Dear sir/madam,
I’m having problems with using vector works 10. I need to correct some earlier parts of my file which i've been working on. For some reason I can’t edit it, the cursor doesn’t even register my 3d object as being there when I run it over the object. It’s as though the 3d image isn’t really there, which is strange because I can turn it around and view it from different perspectives but I just can’t change it. Please can you help me? I am desperate for a speedy solution.
Best wishes |

hiya
have you checked whether the objects that you wanna edit is not grouped, or could it be on a wrong layer?? If the object is imported from another CAD programme it could only be edited by option of editing an object and you may not add or deduct lines in current window buut only in the object editor wondow.
check if that are the case

thanks for your suggestion. fortunately i managed to work it out. it was a thing in the layers option for snap/modify others. this was what caused my layer to be unchangeable. so when i opted for the active layer only option everything was fine and i was back in business.
take care. |
