can a form used to make aluminum extrusions be curved first ? take for instance and "s" shape with a slotted groove - if the extusion were made straight and then bent, would the slot maintain its properties ? i would think that the slot would crumple inward on one side and outward on the other.
what is a minimum radius for an extrusion's die? |
