hi friend ,
sports is not just fooling around for fun ,but infact a powerful tool in developing discipline and learning skills.sports always generate the instinct of keenness in learning things as we are using the knowledge in practical as soon as we learn it (unlike we learn things in our school where the practical part comes much later.). ofcourse these things depend upon the student or the player has towards the sport in which he is involved.moreover involving in an official match often includes following strict rules which are to be remembered and do lot in bringing out a disciplined &ordered life .if u want more details refer some references of
"psychological effects of sports and games in our life"
