hi all. could you do me a favor?my thesis submissions are in a couple of weeks. i need you guys to search for info on "interactive spaces" in a building...
basically, it's like this...
these kind of spaces are those where ppl interact...like some courts, walkways, alcoves off a corridor, water poolsides....i could go on....are you following me?
they are jus the sort of places where ppl get to spend time, hang out together. i am designing a campus for fashion students, and....there, as you might know, it's very important for ppl to interact with each other....so....what i have taken as my thrust area...my research topic is... "interactive spaces", so i should present everything i have on such kind of spaces; i should tell them what they are exactly...where exactly they are necessary...and give examples of built case-studies...........i have the case studies part down pat, but i need the theory bit...the former thingie i was talking about.
so....this is where you come in........... want info (esp. from books....net sources are not very specific for research) about what kind of spaces and elements come under the interactive space heading...and what kind of spaces promote interaction the best way. could you do that for me? you could search in your univ.lib. for this, or some public lib...........with books on say..."linking spaces" or "people places" or "human-responsive or behavorial architecture".
please do try. i need this badly and my college and public libraries are of not much use..lightly putting it....i am stranded! thanks, da. get all the info you can lay your hands on...maybe get bac to me in...say, a week? thanks so much, 'bye for now, take care.
