Is there a way to change a face's orientation?

Using the Wallify command on a roof extension removes the roof wall, but keeps the interior face so I end up with a cup open to the environment rather than a closed in room.

In Maya or 3DS I'd change the face orientation to correct rendering problems. I'm wondering if the Wallify tool uses similar triangulation logic and has some way of correcting this problem?

Thanks!

Objects are wallified around the Alt inputed axis. So if you create a box and Alt drag it up, you will get walls like a building. If you use a working Orientation buttons (those 4 buttone to the right of the rotate and trim tools), and Alt drag it sideways, you will get a tunnel shape.

Of course, you could always rotate a box before wallifying it.

You could just draw a separate piece to make a roof, no wallifying needed.

Incedentally, wallify is much more useful than just making walls. It is also very handy to make curbs and sidewalks. The thickness can be any amount up to half the least dimension of the object.

Perhaps I misunderstood your question. Please post again on how it's going.
