I am in teh beginning stages of interviewing architects. I want to extend red brick 50's ranch from 1100 sq' to approx 2500 sq'. I have a seriously tight budget. What should I expect average construction costs to run in this part of town, and what should the architects fees be (10%?) I know what I want, so will not need a 'minder'. I can draw up basic plans and have a concept file of materials and styles.
Can I afford a serious, creative soul???? |
