The reason I like PCadd is we can do things that that other program can't . Unfortunately when I add all of the great fills and hatches such as stone textures, roof textures and color my print service can't print it. I am converting to pdf before I send drawings to them. One drawing they attempted to print took 45 min. and they finally gave up. Has anyone else had this problem or have a solution.

there are few problems typically associated with what you describe
1) Insufficient RAM in the Plotter
The PDF (aka postscript file) must be converted to a raster file. The raster file must reside in the plotters RAM before it will print. Adding fills, photos and the like can increase the size of the Postscript file which increases the size of the raster file. More RAM typically solves the problem but for service provides used to outputting stick drawing they may not believe that's the case.
2) a dirty drawing
Performing a Cleanup Drawing in pcadd can ensure there aren't objects in the file (often resulting from importing Acad drawings) which are causing Postscript printing errors. Given your description this might not be the direct cause (most likely (1)) but it's worth checking
3) how was the PDF file created
Apple Print to PDF is not the same as using Acrobat to create the PDF. It's not unusual for a PDF made using Apple's internal Print to PDF to fail where as using Acrobat Pro (or Standard) to make the PDF yields a file which prints fine

Thanks Brian,
I will check with my print service regarding RAM, I will also try Cleanup Drawing before saving as a pdf, I am using Apple Print to PDF to create my PDF's. Maybe I'll have to invest in Acrobat to solve this problem.
