I am new to the forum and would appreciate any feedback I may get. If anyone has any suggestions of a good firm to work for, please let me know. Much appreciated.
I'm a Chinese immigrant new to Chicago and preparing a job search in the architecture field. I have a B.S in Architecture and graduated in 1999.
My work experience includes
Jan.2004-Aug.2004 SunCo Suzhou Land Co., Ltd, Suzhou, China
Architect and Project Manager.
· “Lake Shore Paradise City” ---Residence and Retail (GFA:300,000 square meters in Suzhou ), cooperated with RTKL firm in Architecture and SWA firm in Landscape
· “Suzhou Phoenix City” ---Residence and Commerical (GFA:1,560 ,000 square meters in Suzhou ), cooperated with BMA inc. in Architecture
March 2003-Jan.2004 JURONG International Consultant (Suzhou) Co., Ltd, SIP, Suzhou, China
Architect
· SIP( Suzhou Industrial Park) Golf Clubhouse(GFA:15,000 square metre)

Consulted senior executives of both public and private sector companies on the blueprint design and construction implementation of large scale projects.
· Designed Clients include: Two Districts of Nanjing People's Governments(Office Construction including exterior & interior design. Areas: 9,600 square meters)
· Facilitated a Taiwanese Company site plan and factory design (Construction Areas:71,220square meters) in SuZhou
My skill set includes proficient in Windows XP, specialized designing software such as AutoCAD 2000-2004, 3DS MAX and PhotoShop
I have had significant exposure to international projects involving both European architectural firms and US and I am familiar with Chinese architectural code. |
