|
I am finishing up college in construction graphics with a side concentration in building project managment. I would like to someday grow to have my own custom home building company, eventually designing with the client and managing the projects. I have worked in the field doing some of both residential and commercial construction in the past.
-Does anybody know about how much it cost to start out?
==Location in the midwest states region, i have the basic computer equipment and relatively few tools. Not afraid to invest in the tools, just not sure how or where to start.
-What niche is the best for starters? (remodel, small housing, additions)
Thanks for any advice and info-

| Start small! Figure what you need to live on and start looking at the time involved in projects. Do not hire anyone if at all possible. stay away from the general contractors/builders and go for the owner/builder that is approved at the bank and do small additions and remodels. You need quick and positive cash flow. Take a look at my web site and give me a call. I am in Indiana also. |

Start small in the residential design. Do not spend any more than you have to. What part of Indiana are you at? I am looking to hook up with some home designers. I am in Valparaiso Indiana working out of my home. I answer the phone after hours all the time. Check out my web site and give me a call. www.HVAC-consult.com
