Thanks again for the responses everyone! I've been poking around the internet looking for some pictures and information to give me some ideas about how to tackle this project. I was thinking of having the exterior of the house be a "rustic" wood type of feel, with an abstracted take on the "driftwood" concept (not really relating to being assembled by pieces of driftwood but more of the house itself representing a piece or two of driftwood. As for the interior, I was planning on it being contrasting, sleek, and contemporary, using an array of modern materials while incorporating some of the rustic "driftwood" type wood as well. Just a few thoughts. Once I get a few sketches, I can scan and upload them if anyone is interested.
Thanks! |
