These are pasted from ES's website. I am trying to determine if PC8 only runs on Intel machines. I assume this is the case and the "?" is something wrong with the square bullet. But they also show the OS as 10.4.6 or better and I did not think Intels ever had anything less than Leopard. Can someone confirm that an Intel Mac is mandatory for 8? If it does run in Leopard, how does it run compared to 7? I have a Dual 2.7 GHz machine with 2 Gigs of RAM. Thanks in advance.

PowerCADD V8 maximizes the Intel engined Mac. It maximizes the speed of the Intel Mac main processor engines...
PowerCADD 8 Hardware and System Requirements
Minimum requirements are:
? an Intel based Macintosh computer
? at least 1GB (gigabytes) of physical RAM is required for
Mac OS X. We recommend a minimum of 2GB (gigabyte) of
RAM for optimal performance of PowerCADD running with
all External plug-ins and Mac OS X.
❏ a hard disk drive
❏ a CD-ROM drive
❏ a printer or plotter
? Macintosh OSX 10.4.6 or newer
❏ for color output, Print Center which shipped with Mac OS X
and a color Postscript or Ink-Jet Printer
? 300MB of free hard disk space for the PowerCADD
application, PowerCADD documentation, optional external
plug-ins, WildTools, Topography Tools, Architectural
Extensions and documentation for the optional externals. |

| Quote: | Important Notes!!!
• Please remember PowerCADD V8 will only run on Intel processor based Macintoshes.
• PowerCADD 7 will still be available for all users of PowerPC Macintoshes.
• PowerCADD 7 and PowerCADD V8 users can exchange drawings without using ‘Save As’. |

| Thanks for clarifying Matt. Guess I won't be getting 8 for a while as I am not in the market for a new machine right now.... |
