Hello,
i want to calculate the create a program to calculate the area of the shadow that a building creates on the ground.
Is there any app or plugin or API can help me?
I have heard there are some plugin or app to simulate the light in a concret moment of the day in any part of the world.
Is is true? |

Don't know about software but there are charts that provide information abou the sun's location at various times durng each day of tghe year in various locations.
Any calculationis for a short moment only as the sun relocates as the earth moves/sins up and down; around, etc. |

Yes. You can use the charts for the solar angle.
Also if you have a daylighting laboratory near your place where you have artificial lighting system created for calculating the shadows and the amount of light received in the interiors it can help you. |

Create a mass model, then render in VIZ with the proper sun angles. It's fairly easy to set up & you can adjust the shadows to different times of the day, different lattitudes, etc.
