Salam=Peace!
I am an Architect spent all my beginning after graduation from the Faculty of Architecture in building design and preliminary studies.
Seven months ago i had been to a new aspect in the building after having my high diploma in business administration; which is facility management. I am establishing a building administration in a particular local company in my country of the Sudan.
I would like to know if anybody of you have been into this aspect or knowing any architect related to that. I am always encountered with facility manager who were chartered builders rather than architects.
Can you help to get connected with architect related to facility/property management?! |

Seems like an interesting question.
As the global need to reduce carbon emissions (and energy costs) of buildings applies to existing buildings as well as new ones, I think there's a need for more and more creativity and depth of analysis in facility management these days - which seems like it would attract an increasing proportion of architects.
May take a while to find other trained architects working in facilities management, but they are out there, and with luck we'll find them! |

this would be so revolutionary in the aspect of sustainability in architecture & building technology as well.
