Who is your favorite architect and why? Please give a little explanation. If possible, please give a little clue of your background such as your nationality, your age range, etc. But not necessary.
My favorite architect is Santiago Calatrava. A real beauty of structure.
I am a Chinese architect with a hobby of 3D rendering.

| i love calatrava, such beautiful structures. however my favourite architect at this point in time is Frank Gehry, because he creates sculptural and iconic structures that i believe will stand the test of time. I dont ever see his works becoming timeless. Im from the small city of Adelaide in South Australia, studying in my 4th year of interior architecture, and i must say im very interested in art as architecture and vise versa and also very newly interested in ecological design. |

Laurie Chetwood, Massamilio Fuskas, Coop Himmelblau, ONL and Xefirotarch. They've all got cool stuff.
Also like Eugene Tsui, Ushida Findlay and Asymptote.
Bart Prince has some pretty cool stuff. Yansong Ma (MAD) and Heatherwick Studio are cool too.
I am a Chinese-Canadian architectural intern working in the USA whose hobby is songwriting for piano. |
